Accounting Tags Screen

This screen is used to manage the Accounting Tags which can be used with your organization. It will show all the different types of accounting tags available, such as division, activity, or department. You can modify the accounting tags or set them as an "disabled" so that they no longer show up in the drop-down lists for accounting tags. Existing transactions which have disabled accounting tags will not be affected when an accounting tag is disabled.

At the bottom of the screen, you can create additional accounting tags. The fields for creating a new accounting tag are:

• Type: Select the type of the accounting tag, such as division, activity, or department from the drop-down list.
• Sequence Num: This field determines the sequence in which different accounting tags are shown to the user.
• ID: This is the unique ID number of the accounting tag ID in the system.
• Name: This is a short description of the tag or the code for the tag.
• Description: This is the long description of the accounting tag.

Accounting tags will be created in the enabled state.

The types of accounting tags shown on this page need to be configured by your system administrator. Each accounting tag type should be an Enumeration with a parent type ID of ACCOUNTING_TAG
