Configuring Products for Drop Shipping

To configure a product to be drop shipped, you must do the following:

1. Specify that its requirement method enum is "Drop ship only" or "Drop ship on low quantity" in the Catalog Manager > Products >> Edit Product page.
2. Add a supplier purchasing information for the product in the Catalog Manager > Products >> Suppliers page. Make sure that the supplier's allowDrop ship property is set to "Y" and designate one supplier as the "Main Supplier"

Then, when the product is ordered, a purchase order will be created for it automatically. The drop shipment can then be fulfilled according to the instructions in Orders with Drop-Shipped Items.
