opentaps enables you to track products which have distinct serial numbers, such as computers, consumer electronics, automobiles. When an inventory item of a product is received or manufactured, it can be set to "serialized", and a serial number can be recorded. This allows you to search for orders and shipments with the serial number of the product.
Serialization can be applied in these screens and edited in some others:
Products made in internal production runs can also be serialized during manufacture.
