Creating Carrier Accounts

Action

During [Finalize Order] in CRMSFA > Orders >> Create Order, you will be prompted for Bill to Account # under the shipping methods box. If the carrier is UPS, you can set an account number, zip code, and 2-letter country code (ie, US for USA). For other carriers, only the account number will be available.

Enter the account number and other information. Complete your order.

Results

The carrier account information should show up in the final order review page, on the order view page when the order is created, and the account/contact details page under the "Payment and Shipping Accounts" section.

Seeing Existing Carrier Accounts during Checkout

Action

During [Finalize Order] in CRMSFA > Orders >> Create Order, you will also be able to select from an existing carrier account for the carrier's shipment method.

Results

As you change from carrier to carrier (UPS to FedEx to DHL), the carrier accounts available should change.

Using a Carrier Account for Shipping

Action

Select an existing carrier account during [Finalize Order] or create a new one and complete your order.

Results

Your carrier account information should show up on the final order review page, on the order view page. When you pack your order in the warehouse, it should show up on the pack order screen. If you are shipping your order with UPS, the carrier account will be transmitted to UPS.

Expiring a Carrier Account

Action

On the account/contact details page, you will see the carrier accounts under "Payment and Shipping Accounts". Click on [Expire] next to a carrier account.

Results

This account will no longer show up the next time you go to finalize an order for this account or contact.
