This is a commonly used screen to set up Tax IDs for your customers. The fields are:
- Tax Authority: Select the geographic region, and the system will automatically populate the tax-collecting agency for you.
- From Date and Thru Date: Set the date range when the tax ID will be in effect. By default, the tax ID will be in effect from the current time onwards.
- Tax ID: Enter your customer's tax ID number here.
- Is Exempt: Set whether the customer is exempt from sales tax in this geographic region.
