The "Create Event" or "Create Task" screens allow you to add an event or task to the "Pending Activities" list. Creating an event will also automatically add the event and its details to the "My Calendar" screen.
To create an event you must enter the event name and its scheduled start date/time. You can add additional details including the
- Name/Subject - This is the name of the event or the subject of the task.
- Related Party - This is the client relevant to the event or task. You can enter the client's internal ID manually or search for it using thelookup widget.
- Opportunity - This indicates any opportunity that the event or task relevant to the event or task. The opportunity's internal ID can be entered manually or searched for using the lookup widget.
- Case - This indicates any case relevant to the event or task. The case's internal ID can be entered manually or searched for using the lookup widget.
- Scheduled Start
- End Date and Time
- Duration
- Location
- Description
- Availability
- Ignore Scheduling Conflicts
The "Create Event" screen also allows you to select a purpose (either "phone call" or "email") from the drop down menu.
Clicking the [Create] button will add the event or task to the "Pending Activities" list and will bring up the Activity Details Screen.
